Grand Pre, Nova Scotia: Grand Pre is a village adjacent to the town of Wolfville. We stayed at the Grand Pre House, a lovely bed and breakfast. Wolfeville is home to Acadia University and a is full of lovely architecture. A Wolfeville highlight is the nightly (in season) roosting of chimney swifts. Thousands flock at dusk and on an unseen signal swoop, in a mere second or two, into a chimney built on a town commmon to roost.
